THC Care Ltd is an established family run business with over 20 years experience in the care industry, looking to expand and offer exciting opportunities for new employees.  Due to expansion and the demands of the business we are now recruiting for a Recruitment Coordinator. The successful candidate must be committed to achieving high standards, be self motivated, have excellent time management and be able to work in a fast paced environment

The Role

  • £18,000 per year
  • Contracted 30 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday 10am to 16:00pm
  • 28 days holiday entitlement (Pro rata)
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle
  • Ongoing training to support career progression
  • Minimum of two years experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

  • To advertise job roles
  • To screen candidate applications
  • To conduct telephone screening and face to face interviews

Community Reablement Officer

Full time, Dudley borough

THC Care is recruiting for full time Community Reablement Officers for the borough of Dudley. Previous experience in Reablement or a similar role is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be dedicated to providing a high standard of care. Carers must be compassionate, reliable, and responsible and respect the rights of all service users.

  • £9.50 per hour, inclusive of travel time
  • 25p per mile fuel allowance
  • Contracted hours
  • Alternate shift patterns 7am – 5:30pm and 10:30am – 9pm
  • Must be available to work Monday to Sunday, including alternative weekends off
  • 28 days holiday entitlement (Pro Rata)

Responsibilities 

As a Reablement officer you will work closely with hospital discharges over a 6 week period, providing person centred care to support independence and wellbeing. Officers will be responsible for monitoring and reporting all progress and concerns, and provide weekly feedback to management.

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
  • Previous experience in Reablement or a similar role is essential
  • QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care level 2 preferred
  • Must be available to work alternative weekends
  • Excellent communication & time management skills
  • Must be dedicated to providing a high standard of care and support
  • Must be proactive and able to work independently and in a team
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times while representing THC care

THC Care is recruiting for Community Care Workers across the boroughs of Sandwell, Dudley and Walsall. The ideal candidate will have excellent time keeping and communication skills and be dedicated to providing a high standard of care. Previous experience and qualifications are not required as all new employees will be given full induction training, enrolment on a QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care and receive ongoing training to support personal development.

Care Coordinator

THC Care is recruiting for a care coordinator to join our team.  We are an established family run business with over 20 years experience in the care industry, looking to expand and offer exciting opportunities for new employees. 

The ideal candidate must be available to work 5 days per week over a 7 day rolling rota, with shift patterns between the hours of 6:00am – 23:00pm. Flexibility is required as on call cover must be provided as and when required in line with operational needs of the business.  Previous experience in care is not required however; the candidate must have excellent knowledge of IT systems.

  • Up to £22,000 dependent upon experience
  • Contracted 48 hours per week
  • 28 days holiday entitlement (Pro rata)
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle
  • Must have excellent working knowledge of CM2000
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and have a logical and methodical approach

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be to organize, coordinate and supervise the deployment of care services in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager, and within the agreed financial plans.

  • Ensure that the care service is delivered to service users at the times and for the duration specified and agreed
  • Ensure that the staff allocated, and the staff attending each service user have the relevant skills, knowledge and recourses required
  • Manage travel delays and staff shortages to reduce the impact on the service user
  • Assist in the development of the philosophy, goals and objectives of THC Care
  • Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness  of care implementation and delivery
  • Implement action to meet and maintain care standards
  • Work in cooperation with members of multi-disciplined health teams so as to maximise opportunities for service users therapeutic care
  • Ensure that the care service is delivered in a safe and person centred manner
